The credit union knows the importance of education and wants to help students meet the financial needs to further their education. In addition to the student choice loans available through the credit union, we annually give out scholarships to deserving members.
The Corry Federal Credit Union scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors looking to further their education.
The scholarship packets are made available every January. They can be picked up at the credit union or the high school guidance office.
The Board of Directors evaluates the submitted packets and awards the scholarships in April.
Throughout the year, the credit union staff holds fundraisers to raise money for our scholarship fund. These fundraisers include 50/50’s, rummage sales, raffles, and much more. We greatly appreciate all of our members that participate in our fundraisers to raise money for our college bound seniors. In addition to our fundraisers, the credit union itself donates funds for the scholarships. |
